What locations do you service and what do you charge?

While we have representatives in both Colorado and Texas we provide our services wherever they are needed. We have active clients in Florida, California and even Mexico just to mention a few areas. The world wide web allows us to provide remote access service to literally anyone anywhere in the world provided they have a decent internet connection. For new clients we like to visit their site at least once before providing remote services to get a better understanding of what they have as it will help us be faster and more efficient when consulted, ultimately saving them money.

Regarding what we charge, every job is different and we have both residential and commercial rates. However, for the most part if the work is simple like performing updates or minor repairs then we charge by the hour. If the job is more complex such as installing new equipment or overhauling an exisiting office environment then we charge a fixed amount (aka"by the job") to cover it all no matter how long said job takes to complete. This has allowed our customers to keep costs manageable and reasonably low. Since no one wants to waste money we will work with you and your budget and disclose upfront what we can do within the limits of your budget. If we have to travel over 60 miles (one way) to your location we may add a travel charge, such charges are disclosed in advance.

What makes you different from any other computer repair service?

There are a few things that we feel distiguish us:

First, we warranty all our labor. Almost nobody in the computer repair industry does this as most computer repair services will charge you again if they have to come back and work on the same issue, even if they just "repaired it" an hour ago. If we work on something of yours and it breaks down again for the same reason we will come back and fix it again for free up to 30 days from the time of the initial repair. However, the warranty only applies to what we worked on and is voided if a third party makes changes to it after we leave.

Second, if we can't fix a problem we never charge you for the time we spent working on it. This, in harmony with our labor warranty, means that sometimes we may not be able to truly fix a problem even after spending many hours on it. In such circumstances, while it may come at a cost to us, we don't feel it's appropriate to charge a customer when their problem remains unsolved. If we recognize from the beginning that we would not be able to fix the issue at hand we will gladly recommend someone else whom we know can fix it. We will even help you reach out to said third party to make sure you get the proper treatment and services.

Finally, we value our clients loyalty and time. Often times there are better, cheaper, more efficient ways of doing things. We make a point of researching our clients needs and presenting them with potential improvements to their existing setup. While not everyone is in a position to implement these improvements right away due to budget contraints or other factors our clients appreciate our focus on helping them save time and money both now and in the future as needs and technology changes.

Do you have a storefront where I can bring something to get fixed?

Sorry, we don't; we actually come to you. We have found this to be more effective at resolving technological problems as some issues tend to be environmental.

For example, you may have trouble printing to your local printer. Yet, when we test it at our offices everything works fine, it is only when we test it in your location that we discover that another device you own is interfering with the printer. Because we initially had to bring the device to our office for testing and then test it again at your place, time was wasted and the resulting bill was higher. So, we find that it actually saves our clients both time and money to troubleshoot their problems on the spot rather than bringing them to our offices.

What are maintenance plans and who uses them?

Some of our clients want the reassurance of knowing they can call on us at a moments notice and be given priority treatment with a minimum response time from when they call. Our maintenance plans provide this guarantee along with other perks.

If you find that you regularly need our services due to the nature of your business then we would recommend you switch to a maintenance plan, it will be more cost effective. Our plans have lower overall costs than our normal hourly rate along with discounts for other services not normally covered under maintenance. Pricing is based on the amount of equipment covered and 2 different service levels are provided; one that just covers maintenance (repairs and minor upgrades) of existing equipment and another that includes new installs and major upgrades along with said maintenance.

Do you charge for advice on Technology?

Not at all. We feel that advice should always be free. We will even take time to explain things in terms you can understand so that you can make fully informed decisions.

We are happy to answer any questions that you may have and we hope that you will think of using us when the time comes to install or upgrade any technology you need.

What is your most requested service?

Computer cleanup and speedup by far. Most people have had their computers for a few years now and wish they were faster but don't want to buy a new one. By performing a computer cleanup we remove old programs that are wasting space and slowing it down in general.

We tweak the operating system, turn off features you are not using and make sure it has all the latest updates and drivers. Depending on the state of the computer this can take an hour or more, but when it's done the computer will run as good as new or sometimes even better. Everyone who has had this done on their computer loves it because they can breathe new life into their old computer for less than it costs to replace it.
